You're welcome! Just noticed a couple of turning-related abbreviations that aren't on the list:

HF - hollowform
MT - Morse Taper (e.g. MT1, MT2, MT3)
SRG - spindle roughing gouge

Some of us are newbs and don't understand all of the abbreviations that are not explained even inside your posts. I get that BLM is big leaf maple, but what is FBE? I opened both of those posts but didn't learn anything.

Post your acronym here, please include full name.

I'll start: LABTC = locally available but totally crap.
 
Every time I see beb, I think in my head "box elder burl" because that is what we have here that would best fit the acronym, especially since a lot of the box elder burl I see has no red, either dark cream or white in color. Perhaps an acronym for plain box elder burl?
