Just finished this book match set for a client in Chicago. African Afzelia. Unusually purtty wood. Unique in color and figure. I started to keep these but ,Vito and Guido wouldn't like that. :lol2:

Stunning grips. I did not know African afzelia ever had that figure, I've only seen it in the Asian species.

African afzelia is truly underrated. I had a crotch piece some time back. That was purdy.
Amazing grips too.

I didn't either until my source told me about them. I have two more sets of scales of the afzelia, but they don't come close to this set.

Thank you Chuck. Did you folks get any of the snow and ice over there. It's snowing again here and supposed to reach -5 this weekend. Brrrrrr!

We had some ice last Sunday-Monday. The local Woodcraft was closed on Monday! By Tuesday everything was back to normal. Yesterday was in the high 60s. Today about 50 for a high. We will miss the upcoming storm that will hit you. Chuck

We got 4-5" of snow and about a 1/2" of ice on top. Temps haven't been over 25° so it won't leave. Now we're expecting more snow tonight and tomorrow. Heard estimates of 3" up to 8" now. Who knows what we'll get.
