Actually on avatar sizes, there's degrees of sizes allowed. And with the different levels of premium accounts those will vary accordingly. But that has not yet been instituted.
 
Hey, I have a tree now! What's happening?!:confused::) I still can't change it though...

I got a....something....not sure what exactly it is....but better than the neutered male bathroom image!

To Modify your Avitar -
Mouse over your user name in the top right corner
Click on "Your Profile Page"
Click on your Avatar on the left
Open Avatar editor.
You should be good from there

"Today's posts" will once again appear, tomorrow. But not the same as they did yesterday.

That's the way I was doing it. I managed to change it to my Gravatar image, so let's see if I can change my image there...

I don't think Doc got rid of the circle... the background of his avatar is white so it blends.
 
OK, I was wrong ... it wasn't the end of the world. Just the end of square avatars :)

This new software is supposed to be fully functional or however they call it. No app needed. One of the reasons I spent the dough on it. Probably is still not yet optimized.
 
I think the avatar upload might need some work. I just tried to replace my avatar and used a resized pic of 700 pixels wide and 130kb and it said it was to large. Isn't it supposed to resize the pic for you if its under a certain size? I don't want to delete my current avatar first if it won't let me replace it.:mad:
