I was having the same problem. I just uploaded a new gravatar pic and used that. It doesn't seem to matter how big that one is.

That's what I was doing. And as soon as you click upload (or open) it stops and says that it's too large.
Man oh Man. Just when I learn the rules they go and change the game. I'm sure we will all get used to this. Maybe in a month or so. Just kidding guys. The new site looks good. Thanks for all the hard work and effort to keep this site on the cutting edge. Great job.

Same here. I think I've seen all the posts that tell how to do this. I haven't tried the Gravatar option yet.
I tried using the facebook option to recommend something and it didn't go to my FB page. I am logged in to both here and there is this a function that is not hooked up yet or did I just post to our wood barter FB page?

I have to get Mike to integrate the FB - they made it rather complicated for a trog like me. I'm looking at the avatar probs and also trying to figure out why some like Doc et. al cannot log in. . . .
It will all come in due time. I am glad it is not me working on this I would have things all messed up by now:D
Gravatar appears to work correctly. At least you get to see my ugly mug now :)
Are PMs working yet? I don't see any way to send them although I do see that the old ones transitioned over.
I know we are working on it- looks great so far. If I want to log out it does it for me if I hit home. I am sure that is not right. Does that happen to others or just me. Have not seen Jimmy or Rip either. I wonder how many are locked out??

A couple of points of feedback.
When I was at the forum level to create a new thread there's a "Post New Thread" box in both the top and the bottom "bars", however only the bottom one is actually active to post a new thread. The top one is, apparently, only decoration :)
Second observation (and pretty minor, not a big deal, just mentioning it) - when you're creating a post I much preferred the previous way of creating a link. This one just creates a link from the actual URL whereas previously you could "name" the link and all the text of the link was in the background. That didn't appear to be an option in this editor - maybe I just missed it or something.

Ken I am sure I just have not enabled the link feature. A software as rich in features as this one has to have that capability - I'll look for it . . .
