ALL QUESTIONS & COMMENTS REGARDING NEW SOFTWARE GO HERE

I was browsing for a few minutes on my phone earlier. I've got a Droid 4 and was using the Chrome browser.

The site was working well on my phone, and I didn't have a problem typing either. However, the fact that my phone has a physical, slide out keyboard really helps with that as there is no keyboard on my screen blocking things.

The banner did stay at the top when I was navigating the site on my phone, but it wasn't too bad.

I tried the "home" button and it just kicks back to forum. I tried to search to see if this had been reported and I didn't see a post for it. Just don't want to waste your time, I am sure you have enough to look at.

Great job folks. Hang in there!!

Garry;
Only one other person so far reporting this issue, and that is Mike1950. Try clearing your cache and cookies and see if that fixes it. Barb also mentioned that after she did those two steps she also checked "Stay logged in" when she signed back in and has not had a problem.
Let me know if that doesn't work.

Scott, thanks but no joy. So, more info: I am on an IPad 2. Cleared history but need to learn how to clear cookies on this thing. Otherwise, doing great.

I manage a DoD (Air Force) software team, but my smart folks keep me away from the keyboard. They let me deal with the customer and money!! S, I really respect all you are doing as a "hobby"!!!!!!!!!

Thank you

Under 'settings' go to the 'safari' icon(assuming that is your browser)... There should be a clear cookies option there.

Yep got it. After I posted that I realized it would probably be there. Still getting used to this Apple thingy. Actually, love it, but I have a lot to learn.

Back to subject at hand, got home screen initially after clearing both. Now, same thing, home drops me into the forum top page. I will try it on the desktop. Nothing really wrong with that, just wasn't sure what all was on the home page so I was checking it out.

This is how my wifes iPhone looks when I'm on it...View attachment 33215
^^ See the blue cursor at the top of the screen? Just above the text in the bubble that says iPhone...That's the end of the sentence I had posted before this post...

It took some finagling, but the banner finally scrolled up.
It must be droids that have the mobile trouble with the banner staying up top and not disapearing as you scroll or post.

Almost exactly what it looks like on my droid. As I am typing this post though I can see what I am typing.

When i joined WB i had to earn trust because as a new member and from Europe, people needed to make sure i will send wood or products to them. Thats why reputation in old WB was good. Now i feel like starting from scratch. Offcourse, my friends know me and know that i am good guy ;):) but what about new members?

I just posted a message and blew it but couldn't find the edit button. Where did it go? Gary

I'm not having any issues. Lucky, because I'm no computer whiz. Square avatars would be nice. Gary

The edit button is at the bottom left of your post. Just to the right of the time.

Everyone can now edit their own posts. Butch graciously took us through an exercise in the importance of you being able to edit your own posts last night LOL. I promised him I would work on it today.

EDIT...and it works, too.

You are not the only one my Craotian friend- but patience is probably the word of the day here. Let the dust settle and the Irishman at the controls get an understanding of the new software. I am sure he will work it out..............

Tom, I understand your concern but you will never have a shortage of vouchers here at WB. And other established members telling a new guy that your word is good as gold, has more meaning than a number. I will get the reputation thing figured out, but for now we will use the old fashioned way of doing business, and that is I and I'm sure others here will have no problem putting our own reputations on the line for you if it comes to that.
