Completed a 5 3/4” American Lacewood bowl from a blank that was included with my Powermatic lathe purchase a couple of years ago. Lots of depth and patterns to it. Took more sanding than most blanks to get to that “aha” state, where I felt it was ready for finish. Applied 10+ coats of gloss wipe on poly, followed by 3 coats of Renaissance wax. Chuck
