Howdy!

Another one here from Texas! My name is Tony Lawrence, and I'm retired USAF. I'm a full time custom stock maker. Although I have a background working with fiberglass, I moved to making custom wood and laminate rifle stocks. I enjoy working with wood, and admire craftsmanship in all fields including musical instruments, knives, and... I'm here to learn more!

Take Care,

Tony

Welcome from New York Tony - we would love to see some pics of your work. There are some stock makers here, but plenty of shooters to drool over your work! :yipee:

Hi Tony glad you found us - no one will ever tell you this but we love pictures of wood. And pictures of anything nearly. We even have one crazy :old: fart that posts pictures of his pet moose. Not quite as much fun as looking at wood itself, but at night we secretly drool over pictures of wood we don't yet posses. Or that we do. I use "we" just to make the truly demented here feel normal. None of them will ever admit that they have a sickenss. I'm not saying I do. Just saying we have a lot of sick members here. Not me. No. Not me.

:welcome2:

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm not by the computer so I can't upload pics at the moment, but will try to get some posted later.

Welcome, Tony! I'll get in line behind the others here awaiting photos of your work.

I can't figure out how to post pics from my phone. Here is a link to my gallery. LAW483 Stock Gallery. I also can't figure out how to add a signature; perhaps that kicks in later..?

Just to add, the M14/M1A & M1 Garand rifles are my passion so that's what you'll see. I'm starting to make stocks for other rifles including bolt actions. Also, target style grips and pistol grips are my specialty, but I am starting to do some more standard style designs as well.

You need 5 posts for Signature line and to PM.

Very nice work.

Welcome! This site will turn you from woodworking to wood collector! I advise you now to put a daily spending limit on your PayPal account!

Tony your work is very cool! I love that Tiger Birch! I've never seen any before. Do you still have any? I'd love to do my Marlin 336 in that!

Excellent work!

Very cool website, great looking guns. I always wanted an m1 but something always seems to be more important, like wood, and tools etc.

Thanks Buddy! I understand that! I've had to sell fun stuff to buy tools.
