This hand cut flame boxelder basket will be heading to the gallery in a couple weeks if no one here is interested in it. I thought it would be much more appreciated by a fellow woodworker than the average Joe. 13 x 8.5 x 7 high. any questions I'll be glad to answer. $90.00 and shipping. Thanks for looking

Very cool. Are the bands bent? When I did that I didn't get near the close bends she did. I'd be interested in knowing how she achieved that degree of flexibility.

Masterful. Belongs in a gallery. Behind a price tag that’s larger than 90 anyway.

the weavers are hand cut on a scroll saw. each weaver is cut to exact shape and angle to mirror its self when reversed and stacked. The stakes are glued at every intersect with a weaver. some of her baskets have over 200 glue joints in them. Its a very tedious and exact art that you'll not see often. She is coming up on her 11,000th this year

That's kind of what I thought but that is a lot of time and effort to cut all those sections so the vertical stakes fit, etc. Really cool!
