Needed to saw some cherry up for a project at my best friend/brothers in Myrtle Beach in September. My buddy came up for the day to saw. Sawed a couple cherry and some ambrosia maple. Then sawed some quarter sawn white oak for him.

My buddy worked.me like a rented mule today. Its fun but its better when the temps are in the 40's and not the 90's
Based on the photos, I'd say it was worth a little hard labor.
That maple is really beautiful! Thanks for posting the pictures. I’m sure whatever you make from them will be very special.

Thanks. I'll keep some but most will go into bowl/platter blanks and be sold
That maple was stuffed with bugs. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that much contrast in ambrosia maple.

They are good but this was the best I've ever had. This is gonna be a dining room table for the wife

Me too. The wife keeps asking if its dry enough. Guess I need to get on it soon.
