They lured me back to coast. Had great bait. Or I am a sucker for bubbles??? Biggest 2 were booked pair 17 ft long, 51 and 60 bd ft.
Now the work starts cut into billets and seal ends, sticker and load kiln.

What’s so special about that wood. We have pine and oak in Mississippi also.

Yep, decent bait, I mighta struck on that myself... And I am not known to grab just any ol.... Aww, heck, who am I kidding, I would pick up lumber from the dumpster at work...
And that is a proven fact not theoretical.

Did it today, several sections of useable pressure treated. Also got an awesome (smaller section) tightly curled maple pallet runner. May be big enough to make pens out of.

But it didn't happen... Got no pictures

OOO, had a sudden thought ... if I had a nice small thin sheet of that I could make a twin to this one...

Or, if you cut any 4+" x 4+" by 2" deep, it'd make an incredible fly box or two. You know, just offering some ideas if you're looking for how to slice and dice that beauty.
