Ive been away from you guys for too long. Just popped in on a whim and thought id see if anyone was in or around Denver. I have A LOT of wood and would send you on your way with something nice just because, haha. But if so hit me up and maybe swing by the yard/mill down near 285 and S. Federal.

I am outside of Colorado Springs. Just saw your post re Paul. Yes, sad news doesn’t even start to define it. A couple members north of you but have not seen one in some time. Will have to try to remember his name, he was in Thornton. Other is an incredible turner and I think he was in Berthoud.

Do you ever attend the Front Range Woodturners meetings? Several of us from the Springs club drive up every month.

I'll be in Denver mid July if you want to meet up. Courtland lives about 30 north and Dan is in that area. Would be cool to have a get together. Somebody is in the Commerce City area as well. I keep asking the wife if we can swing down Garry's way, but prying her away from the grandson... well, I lose everytime.

Mid-July is about the perfect time to visit Colorado. If you make it down to Garry's area allow a few minutes to visit the Garden of the Gods. A free park and is worth the side trip. Park the car and spend a couple of hours on a walking tour.

Awesome! Most definitely. We will all be kept in the loop. Come early July we can solidify and confirm some "official" plans. Ill start thinking about/gathering some special pieces of our favorite material to send yall off with (everybody wins, trust me... i take advantage of any opportunity to lose some weight) and will dig out a couple curious rando logs from the pile to throw on the mill when yall are there. Gotta love seeing what's inside... its like a treasure hunt where you always find treasure...
