I was just wondering how many of you wood lovers like piano music, in this case George Winston. I started listening to his music in 1984 and I was amazed that the piano could sound like that.
I did not know how to play the piano back then but his music inspired me to learn the piano. I tought myself to play his music and then I found I was able to create my own piano music.
I do not know how to read music nor do I know the chords I play but I have a lot of fun playing the piano, thanks to George Winston.
If any of you would like to hear my piano music you can listen or download it for free from my website at www.ChrisAllenPiano.com
I even made a few music videos using AI.
Any input on George Winston or even my music is welcome.
Aloha.

Chris

I started listening to George Winston in about the same year as you, shortly after getting out of college. I had his cassette tapes in my house and car and had them playing all the time. Unlike you, I have never had any musical talent ... and had so many other hobbies to pursue. I currently have the piano my grandfather played in the early 1930's when he played for silent movies. I haven't actually tried to play it for at least 30-years.

I really liked your piece "Always For you" ... dedicated to your dad. I think of my dad with every piece of wood I turn. He gave me his lathe shortly before leaving us in 2012. Lots of awesome memories with him.

Your piano style is very pleasant to the ears! Congrats on putting your own spin on another's music. Chuck
