Always looking to improve the efficiency and safety of my production processes. This was delivered yesterday so put it to the test for improving the making of production blanks.

Easy to set up and has quite a bit of adjustability for lining up the grain and clamping to uneven surfaces.

Double check alignment looks good

Bandsaw is finely tuned so it made an easy, flat and accurate cut. Previously would make this cut with the billet standing on end that can make long shavings that don’t get sucked into the collector and clog the bottom wheel housing. This eliminates that problem.

The flat face makes the remainder of the process easy and accurate.

Very happy with the results and should have bought it years ago. Eliminates lots of measuring and marking the wood and improves accuracy over freehand cutting.

I have a Carter magnetic fence that has worked okay for me, but think this would be even better! Chuck

Looks well built. I will stick to the strings. :old: does not like round things on BS.

Round things on BS is a definite hazard potential! My first experience with a BS was cutting a branch to length. It snatched the branch right out of my hand. Good thing my hand was not near the blade! Now I use an abundance of caution! Chuck

Rockler and Woodcraft have them for $180. Will google to see if less elsewhere—$170 Amazon seems cheapest.

Round on bandsaw scares me also—kickback concerns, but I am not hugely experienced.

Nice report, John!
