Absolutely. All the wood is plenty thick enough for spoons and the curly cherry would make beautiful ones for sure. The crotch grain would even make great spoons. I'll send you a pm.Hey Larry do you think this is suitable for spoons? Unless NO consider it mine pls
I think Sarah wants this box but I can cut others for you. What sizes do you want?Would you separate or it must all go together?
The moisture content is reading 12% but it's been raining here for several days and all my lumber has gained some moisture. I have another piece of crotch cherry that is approximately 2 x 2 x 21 that would make a great set of rattles if that is of interest. It's from the same crotch board as the other one shown.I was just curious if it all went together or would you separate. I’m looking to turn a baby rattle for my son that’s on the way. The cherry crotch looked beautiful. It’s wet right? Not dry?
Justin, that was the only piece of 3 x 3 crotch cherry I have. Maybe you could do some sort of deal with Sarah to buy it from her. I do have a nice piece of 2 x 2 crotch cherry.Hello,
I looking for some crotch cherry 3x3 at least 12” in lengths preferred. I would like multiple blanks if you have them.
Thanks,
Justin
I'll take $8 for it plus the mailing cost. It's a great piece of crotch. I'll post photos of it tomorrow. It will fit in a flat rate padded envelop if I can cut it in half.@FranklinWorkshops
Larry, what do you want for the 2x2x21 cherry? Have someone that may want it. I'll try and get with him soon.
Have you sold these yet larry?I have three wide boards of curly cherry and a super nice cherry crotch 3 x3 in this offer. The dimensions are all shown on the photos and all sides are shown.
