Absolutely. All the wood is plenty thick enough for spoons and the curly cherry would make beautiful ones for sure. The crotch grain would even make great spoons. I'll send you a pm.

The moisture content is reading 12% but it's been raining here for several days and all my lumber has gained some moisture. I have another piece of crotch cherry that is approximately 2 x 2 x 21 that would make a great set of rattles if that is of interest. It's from the same crotch board as the other one shown.
Justin, that was the only piece of 3 x 3 crotch cherry I have. Maybe you could do some sort of deal with Sarah to buy it from her. I do have a nice piece of 2 x 2 crotch cherry.
I'll take $8 for it plus the mailing cost. It's a great piece of crotch. I'll post photos of it tomorrow. It will fit in a flat rate padded envelop if I can cut it in half.

Yes, Sarah bought it. If you're interested in curly cherry boards, I still have some like the ones shown above. Don't have anymore of the turning squares, however.
