@300LW, here is an incredibly heavy box of woods for you from Taiwan. 5 sweet plum logs, 1 Chinese pistache log, 2 Chrysanthemum logs and a board of old growth coffin wood. The sweet plum and pistache I am going to simply average at 20$ each except one small piece for 10$. The chrysanthemum is 15$ each and I’ll toss the coffinwood for 10$. The package weighed a whopping 11+kg, so the shipping was 73$. Total is 223$. Let me know when you get it!

Sweet. What is coffin wood?

It’s a species of conifer traditionally used for coffin making. Lovely wood and it smells nice. Here is driftwood piece I cleaned up the other day: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwania

It reminds me of that low grade Indian rosewood. Coffinwood is strange regardless. It seems like each piece you get looks uniquely different from the last. The oils in it cause the wood to stain in different ways. You get everything from purples and blues, to greens and reds.
