I'll see what I have in the pile.Meaning not cut down into pretty little solid chunks. Ideally a good amount of bark or natural edge. Probably the stuff you cut off to get nice boards

Samples finish at 3" wide, 6" long, by 1/2" thick.Let me see what I can do...what are the dimensions you need?
I've also been searching for blue mahoe. If you only need small pieces or pen blanks, check out oakbrook woodturning supply. They have several pieces, some of which are very blue. I picked up 5-6 pieces from them. Also keep an eye out on ebay. I got a 1x1x12 blank of super blue colored blue mahoe from Turners Circle (these guys have excellent quality wood on ebay FYI). I also just last week scored a box full of small offcuts of blue mahoe, olive, wenge, and zebra wood for a whopping $1.50 in an auction. Most of the blue mahoe is green unfortunately, but there's a lot of good usable olive wood in the box and still a few blue colored pieces of blue mahoe.Bumping this thread to see if that pile got explored. Thanks

Yes, ebay. And it's no secret or anything. I was just browsing ebay for mahoe and happened upon this auction. I have never purchased from this seller before, but as you can see he's pretty well established on ebay with a perfect feedback rating. I'm sure he probably padded the shipping a little, but it's still a lot of relatively expensive wood for very little money. The pieces are very small and therefore probably of little use to many woodworkers. But I do some small projects sometimes that I can certainly use a lot of this wood for.@Big Ry
Thanks for the pointers!
On that auction where you scored the box for $1.50, was it on EBay, or another site? Any seller in particular? Just curious….
I’d also understand if you don’t want to publicize your source.
