definitely super hard and dense. Heartwood is a deep reddish brown. Only a small part of the tree get that dark wood. Also tends to be somewhat faulty, hard to get clean material.

one end had some cracks in the heart and perhaps some dry rot, also tapers a bit and gets thinner. I’ll take a bit of the price because of that. I can cut it off to reduce shipping cost, it goes up about 2 3/4” or so.

I have a live edge board of boonaree I can dig out if there is any interest also.
