Bradford pear

Got so.e Bradford pear day they other day. Needed to get it cut and sealed before it started cracking. Cut the pith out and had the middle left over. Got some nice pieces from those. @Bean_counter told me it would probably have curl. Man was I surprised. SWAT will see some curly bowl blanks of it. These are all ~2-2 1/2"×12

They are fresh cut and very wet. I'd probably sell a piece. I guarantee its EXPENSIVE to ship to the UK.

That is more curly than the tree I cut. Although mine did have a little curl, that one is great!

I've found a source of pen blanks I could glue up, but your pieces are particularly pretty. Maybe we can just bear it in mind if we do any other trades along the line.

Yep, that's got more curl than I've seen around here. Only curl I get to see is compression curl under a branch.
