I used some of Paul Hinds's quarter-sawn sycamore to make a sports car.

Why quarter-sawn sycamore?

Because it's a Jaguar.

I actually used a piece of his leopardwood to make a leopard. I'm not sure the spotted pattern ended up being visible enough, so I may never do this again, but it looks nice enough:

If you get the orientation right the spots will be more pronounced.

Also, those are amazing pieces of work.
