Very nice! Sounds like you’re happy with the laguna?
Kind of. It was having some problems when I was turning off the tenon. The rpm just went down to 0rpms a couple times. I just had to turn it off and back on and it worked, but kind of annoying. But when the lathe works, it’s awesome! I’m calling Laguna in the morning to see what I can do.

Huh. Would be very annoying. Wonder if it’s a common problem. Hopefully it’s an easy fix.

I haven't had any problems at all with my Laguna. I hope it's something simple.

Beautiful! But I wanna see more! What's the I side and bottom look like? How do you finish off the bottom on a natural edge bowl that jagged?

Like the way you positioned the piece to have offset one side of the edge! Those pins sticking out would be real painful If they hit you while turning or sanding with lathe on!1

Sounds like a minor adjustment, but minor adjustments aren't always minor when you're not an electronics technician. Should be potentiometers for low speed, and load at low speed. One or the other needs tweaking.

Thanks! I had 2 bandaids on when I left the shop that night. They do hurt. Lol
