LOL thanks for that vote of confidenceBeautiful!! If shipping wouldn't be so high, I'd ship you both birds and the stick of wood and have you mount the birds. True artist!

Doesn't one leg up mean they were injured but survived? Both legs on the ground means they weren't injured and both legs up means they were injured and didn't survive. Or is that Civil War statues?@Wildthings , Barry, is there a specific reason for one leg up? Is that common, is that a taxidermy thing, or something with the bird? Just curious. Apparently out here in Colorado having the tongue out in an Elk mount is special but I have never learned why.
And that is another incredible creation.
Both of those are beautiful!
My idea was a hen sticking here head out of a hole in a dead standing tree with a drake standing on a branch below her. Make it into a lamp with a NE cookie for the base.
Here's the one I was speaking of Woodies at homeworking on that on right now but it's a nest box. I'll post it when do but here's an earlier similar mount
cross state mailing of game species might be of issue. transporting wildlife across some state lines is a no-noBeautiful!! If shipping wouldn't be so high, I'd ship you both birds and the stick of wood and have you mount the birds. True artist!
It is not a concern for migratory birds that have a legal hunting season. I receive and ship ducks across the USA. As long as the proper paperwork accompanies them. Easy peasy.cross state mailing of game species might be of issue. transporting wildlife across some state lines is a no-no
