I made a couple of these in the past, and was asked to make another one, so I decided to stock up. Got the Idea from a similar piece on Etsy. Used up all the 12/4 Mesquite stock I had to make em. Horns and tail are from 5/16 brass round stock. Sort of a Mid Century Modern take on Picasso. I also wanted to mention the vice I broke down and got for it, it made drilling precise angled holes for dowel assembly a breeze. Am kicking myself for not getting one a long time ago, $45 on amazon and its Chinese but well made, handy for lots of stuff I now realize. The bulls are about 9"tall x 15" long.

So very cool! I had not seen one of those vises before. Looks exceptionally helpful! Chuck

Cool design! This reminded me of something my uncle made for all the grandkids as they started to be born. I think you could easily modify your design Barry to make them into a piggy bank. This one my uncle made has 3 layers of 2x4 and 2 layers of 1". The middle layers are hollowed for the storage.

Thanks Doug! I will keep this design in mind, although I'm not sure piggy banks are much of a thing anymore, it's a clever design
