I am in need of a nice set of knife scales. I would like some nice figure, red burl is always a plus (no dyed burls). amboyna, and mahagony are two of my favorite.
I need them stabilized, 6"X2"X3/8".
Let's see em.
 
I have stabilized scales and blocks in my personal stash that you may be interested in. 5.25" x 1.75 - 2" x 1.25" (blocks) 5/16-3/8 (scales) Will send photos later today once I arrive home. Being personal stash they are not cheap.
 
I have some stabilized mesquite blanks if interested I will get some pics
 
Any interest? In order, black dyed natural red BEB $30, natural red BEB $30, and flame redwood burl $40. Sizes 5.75 x 2 x 3/8 and 5.25 x 1.75 x 1.25

All are professionally stabilized. This has been in my personal stash for many years.

Plus I have these. In order, redwood eye burl $40, redwood ray burl $40, amboyna burl $50. Personal stash and all professionally stabilized. If interested in more than one set or block, I can work on pricing. Sizes 5 x 2 x 5/16

How deep does the red go on the BEB? Is it about the same on both sides?
