Chance of grain orientation on the 8/4 like this?? Disregard the "paddle". I have stock for that.

This piece is 6 1/4 wide. Off center heart. Quarter sawn on the left and rift on the right after you square up. How long are you looking for and how many?

How much for the 8/4 Butternut per 2x2x23 stick?

I can fit five in a gamebox and have room for some 4/4 Butternut. Or I can fill with a piece of quartersawn Koa @ 3/8 roughsawn. $50 shipped for the Butternut and extra for whatever to fill the box. I can fill with plain Walnut for free. I'll start a new thread if you want to go foreward?
