I bought the gouge before Christmas and had a custom aluminum handle made for it. First time getting to play with it as I just got the handle this week. This thing is AWESOME!

Actually, I’d rather see the @Don Ratcliff do that happy dance.
Looks like some quality work in Carter and sons tools. May have to get one when next gouge needs replacement.

How deep is that vessel shaping up to be Don? With a hollowing tool on a handle like that you might not need Mr Ellsworth’s help.
With a handle that long, bet Don could rough turn a piece while sitting in his living room!
