Whose cheese slicer kit do y use? Looking for another source besides Woodcraft. No complaints, just looking for sources.

These were my first batch of boards, I just went on Amazon.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, it's been since hurricane Ian that I've been able to do any kind of woodworking. I really missed how gratifying and relaxing it truly is.
Gary, I get mine from Prodyne, the same exact kits that Woodcraft sells. You can buy directly from them a lot cheaper.
Buy 2 or more on Amazon and price drops under 10 bucks each. The wooden handles that come with it are not consistent alignment of the insert. Easy enough to use Allen wrench to remove insert and replace with wood of your choice…this one made by @garyswf with cherry Burl handle.

Those are gorgeous. Makes me want to get a little civilized and start slicing cheese rather than just gnawing off a chunk from the block!

Beautiful/ I don't see any mistakes - unless it's the doubling up of the darker wood in the middle band.
The glue lines might be a bit wider in person than what we can see but otherwise I agree. (I am not insulting the glue lines. I am just saying that judging those is much harder from a pic)
The chevron pattern is a nice variation and only a woodworker is likely to find the smallest of complaints. Kinda like how woodturners poke their pinky in hollow form hole. Super nice overall! Oh, and glad you used your wood to learn from!
For a first, this is most excellent! I've made a few cutting boards, working my way up to a 3D board. Will it be used or just admired? Chuck
