Here are a few pictures of some Cholla I'm making a frame out of. The OD is from 1 1/2 down to about 1 1/8". I didn't measure, so I could be quite a bit off.
Here I'm on the jointer to get a flat bottom. ( the guard is removed for clarity) Notice the rust. This jointer is under a 12 long wide foof, and the rain coming in was close to 80 degrees, so a roof is not really that much protection without walls.
@ripjack13, I am trying to insert 3 pictures into this thread, but my cursor will not go below this first picture. I used to post a lot of pictures one at a time and hit enter after posting it, the cursor would continue to the bottom of the picture and I could type in a description. It looks like I'm going to have to add all three pictures and finish the post above all pictures. Is this a problem with my computer or is it your program.
Anyway, the second picture is a jointed surface and the third is all 4 pieces cut to approximate size. It's going to take some finessing to get it right, but doesn't look like a problem except for the 110 degrees outdoors with no cover from the sun. I had to go get a Tarp, and on the road, it was 113. When I got home, I looked at the temp indoors, and it was 92.
As all yall can see, they aren't in the order of my description.............. Nubs
