*Closed* Black Walnut blank for sale

Have a nice block of Black Walnut for sale. Has some interesting grain patterns. Was cut from a rather large “triple crotch”.

I’ve posted some photos of projects I’ve recently completed from this same piece of wood.

Anyway- fresh cut and will pretty well fill a LFRB. Thickness is mostly 4.75” but tapers in one corner down to about 4.25”. Pics are with the wood wetted. Asking $30, plus shipping, because “it’s kinda special” (at least to me ).

Might make a right decent bowl like @barry richardson or @Courtland might do justice with. I doubt my harbor freight lathe would do this justice. I fear a steadier hand than mine is needed to light up that grain show you are holding

Hey, glad to hear it. Now I gotta get away from the computer and go work on some Desert Ironwood...............LOL
