**CLOSED** Flame box elder bowl blanks

FBE arrived today!!! I LOVE FBE!!! Can this be turned green and then "stored" for a bit until dry?

Most people rough turn green and place with the shavings in a bag until dry and finish turn.

#'s 2,3 and 4 of the second group are left. Want these gone. Gotta order a new gun and a bunch of ammo. Freakin liberals took over all VA gubment in this year's election. The bills that have been entered in for vote are CRAZY! Now that the feds don't require the $200 tax stamp on suppressor, they are trying to tax them at the state level at like $4k. Ammo and gun sales tax are going up at least 11%. Need to stock more while I can. Welcome to the communist state of East Coast Cali...CaliGinia

I'm sure I'll catch h*** for this, but i think the 4th Reich has come to America unfortunately.

Hmm. As a half german this is interesting to hear. We have a democratic Republic now. Muuuch better than what we had before. We even removed the overzealous centralised economists that called themselves DDR. Even with the Stasi trying to get in the way.
 
I cut some Boxelder in upstate NY just like this 5 years ago. It matched well with the pictures in post #1 and #12. It had bits of green with the pink. The wood I had, all the pink turned that dull green in 1 year. Some of the upper trunk was a light pink and that faded to nothing. I was just floored that the color was gone. On a side note, had a few pieces from Kevin and they held color for years without any treatment. Wish you all the best of luck.

This was not meant as a reflection on Germany now my friend, it is simply the way I feel about the so called leadership we have in America now ! Simply my feelings, others will disagree, as it should be. To each their own.
