If reasonable, either. We can stabilize. Usually depends on if I really want it when I see it. :)
Understandable. You want flame with length, or cross cut to show the red on end grain. Some pen guys like em differently.
I have some boards I got out earlier that are really nice. I could could cut either way, just need a direction to figure price and so forth.

Good question. Typically purchased them with the flame running length of blank. Last batch might have been a Burk so the grain and flame was in several directions. I guess looking for something neat and maybe a bit different. So cross ish or burl ish. Let's avoid with grain for now.

Hate to show my ignorance but what is blue white red burl?
Box elder is white. Aberration is red. And sometimes it gets a blue grey. And sometimes it is burl. I have 10 or a dozen blanks. I will picture

nah- I deal in burl. elder gets color- no unicorn- just nice.

Cody, still interested in the more traditional FBE per our conversation above with the flame going across the blanks.
I have all white burl. Buckeye burl. Maple burl and amboyna burl pen blanks. There are 12 in picture. They were not misted for picture.

Mike, looks good. I guess you were offering to fill up the remainder of the SFRB with another species. If so, then put some extra buckeye burl in there to complete an order. I haven't received the last box (yet) but I am looking forward to them.
