Here's what I have for @Harry-thefluteatelier , I think it's all together now:
Cocuswood bits
Smaller and larger Ceylon ebony
Two tiny bits of box
Various reds and browns

I'll weigh it and get a rough idea of a shipping cost. I'd just ask the price of the cocus, which is about 50 Aus$, plus shipping

Awesome!

Is there boxwood in there?

And one last thing I just thought of because of a new flute I bought, have you got anything lighter than boxwood? An almost white in colour wood?

Thanks so much!

Hi @Harry-thefluteatelier , I only have two tiny scraps of boxwood, they're bottom left taped to the small ebony. Only a few cubic cms. I'll look around for the whitest piece of wood I can find. Off the top of my head maybe a birdseye maple?

I'm not too fussed, I'm just thinking when I go to fix a crack on a flute I'll use mostly the same wood that the flute is made of and then I need a small amount of something lighter because the glue will darken it a bit.

Anyways, thanks so much for all this.

Let me know what you find.

Lime works well, as in linden. If it is a small crack, the glue soaks the Lime and hardens it in a way to limit harmonic absorbtion.

American ash and balsa look like the palest I have, slightly lighter than the maple. I can cut some of either.
Interesting that lime is good as a filler. On a couple of flutes I've sanded the surface into small cracks then set the dust with glue

The box is slightly creamy yellow, photo is a strip of ash and a board of balsa at the top

Oh, I see what you mean.

Could I ask for a little of the lower one? (the lighter one) I think it's the ash.

Then we are all done!!!

Thanks so much for all this.

So you want $50aud for the cocus and then I'll arrange shipping I just need to know the weight, size and location. (Do we direct message or email for this bit?)

Does that work?
