Going through some of my acoustic bridge blank stock and offering this well seasoned Cocobolo (dalbergia retusa) from circa 1980’s short board that I had triangulated for multiple acoustic belly bridge blanks and then some with very fine grain striations. Shows 2 footprint outline of belly type bridge and when book-matched should yield 4 pieces + should be able to sneak in a book-match pair of pyramid bridge blanks about 6” x 1”).
This is well seasoned (currently at 7.5-8% moisture content)- dimensions are approximately 12.25” long, 2.75” wide and 1.090” thick. Has a pitch check at the one end that is angular about 2” long with affected area of 3/4” to 7/8”. Rough sawn on the side edge and has very fine kerf marks on both faces. Physical weight is 1.45 pounds. Moisture content about 7.5%.
$ 50 shipped that will just about make the padded USPS flat rate padded envelope (50 States).
