This is very old-at least 100 yrs. The large saw marks are a bit of a giveaway. 1 9/16"×5"+×over 96". I can't see any defects aside from the very small knots, if you consider those. Bought from Berea Hardwoods over 30 yrs ago. I'd consider cutting it for shipping purposes or split sale . Didn't plane through all of the saw marks near the ends or back side to preserve as much overall thickness as possible. Still 1 1/2" on ends. Gorgeous, dark, nicely grained Dalbergia Retusa. $450 plus shipping

Coco is pretty easy to source here (maybe not in this size though!), but we have a hard time getting other Dalbergia that seem to be much more plentiful over in Europe. @Jperry93 and I talk dalbergia almost daily, and he gets so much Bois de Rose over in the UK...I'm very jealous lol. There are always trade-offs.
