Li’l Mikey- this would be handled in 3 ways in a “New York minute”. If we just want to let it go and you get your word in, we say “whatevah” (in a thick New Yawk accent). The second one would be, “what the fc*k did you just say”? Then the 3rd one is cutting to the chase and it would be, “Fc*k you, you fc*kin’ fc*k”! Then it escalates if you do make another remark it goes to, “what the fc*k are you going to do about it or you want a piece of me”! We tell it like it is- IYKNYYKN.

That would fit in with a past persona. My CB handle in mid 70's was "The Cow Paddy Daddy", and my car was "The Buffalo Chip Mobile"!

Oh Li’l Mikey. My sister in-law married a Southerner (from Charleston). I remember the first time he came here and we took him in the East Village. Boy, I think he didn’t feel right not being able to “carry” as he always look paranoid and he would walk in the middle of the side walk. He was a big guy and built like a quarter back. He had a big twangy southern accent, but no one here would call out him out on it or call him a you know what. I would joke around and walk next to him and say to him, “why you acting like you going to get jumped, then I would imitate him jokingly and say, “you know what you should be scared, not because they are big things, but they are little things in great masses- flying rats and gangs of Ratatouille”! “The occurrence of someone doing something stupid to you is in decimal percentage compared to a flying rat dropping poop on you (we are on a “poop theme” since you brought it up) or a bunch of “Ratatouille” crossing by your feet at night and wanting to carry a whole piece of pizza across the street to their homies”.

This may be cheating, but google "COFFEE WOOD CHEW STICKS". I'd link but don't believe we are allowed to. I know nothing about these, just trying to pad your wood stash.
You can post a link………Li’l Mikey went to an expensive poop stick to a down grade doggy chew toy. I hope you have beavers, coons, squirrels in your back yard for the “coffee wood chew”. You just officially lost your Michelin star rating.

Li’l Mikey = Mr. Culture……..doggy chew toy in the form of “coffee wood chew sticks” won’t make it pass his quality test (whispering: y’all think he even has one). Now if you have them vacuumed wrap them sticks with wrinkled koa, combined with his favorite 
whisky…………and have it smell like TN brisket…………the odds might not be against you. Got me thinking- cyber truck wrapped in curly koa? Nah, it will still look fugly.

^I have reached out to half a dozen of natives to find you a piece of HI coffee stick. So far I am not having luck. I’ll keep poking Li’l Mikey @Mike Hill and if not we might have to do have a communal search and rescue to find “The Islander” OR save a little bit of that coffee and have someone cast you a pen blank.

Kona coffee wood from the Hawaiian Islands themselves. Might be my last piece, but maybe not - didn't go digging too deep, since it was kinda chilly in the shop and short on time.

As long as I can get one pen blank - and it looks like possible
As long as you're not going for a full size pen, like one of those big Emperor kits, I reckon you could probably get 3 pen blanks out of it, with careful cutting down the pith and removal of the check. I had cut other pieces of this down the pith into 4 pen blanks previously, when I had more of it and prior to it checking down the length.
If you want exact measurements, especially of the narrower end, I can get that for you in a day or two or three.

I did not find a kona coffee pen blank, but I did nab this today on my way out with a cup of coffee. Chicory brings me back to the multiple memorable trips to NOLA and Café Du Monde in The French Quarter. Now my morning would be perfect with my chicory if I can find some beignet’s………”Let the good times roll”…….
