A set made of Cottonwood, stabilized and dyed. I didn't make this set, I was commissioned by the client in Chicago to hand cut the checkering for him. They were smooth initially and he didn't like the feel so, I checkered them at 20 lpi for him which provided a more secure grip, which he was pleased with.
