Curly Silver Maple

@Alancw (first dibs) was asking me about some curly Maple to go along with another piece of wood he recently purchased.
So, I rounded this piece of curly Maple. Just over 5.5” diameter x 6(+)” tall.
Asking $35 plus shipping.

I think the hf would be nice with the sapwood on the bottom?? This would be a side grain oriented hf.

That is an amazing piece of wood. The curl and the heartwood and sapwood all come together perfectly. I can’t wait to see the hollow form.
