Hi, I use saran wrap for an end sealer on my turning blanks instead of anchor seal, it works well and is not messy. What I do is cut a roll of kitchen kling wrap in half with a saw. A table saw or chop saw give a very smooth cut. However there is a very slight burr that grabs the saran as you un roll it, any ideas on how to remove the burr so the wrap come of the roll without tearing thanks

Try a razor knife to cut around that edge all the way to the tube.

These little hand held's can be quite handy in the shop.

The household Saran wrap is a little cheaper but as a tightwad who has tried some of this type schemes can tell you, getting it the proper width from the factory is likely to save money in less wasted torn sheet and less wasted time
