I've tried to delete my Silver Maple Shorts thread fromt Wood For Trade so I could re-do it on Wood For Trade, but I'm not authorized. It says to read the rules, but I see nothing pertaining to deleting posts. ??
What I'd really like to do is move the thread wholly over to Trades. But if not that, just delete it and re-do it. why can't I, for my own post?

That thread is now in the ''wood for sale'', Kevin or one of the other mods must have moved it.
Only moderators/admins can delete or move threads. So if a member wants that done they can just give one of us a holler and we will take care of it. :hi2:

Hi Barb, the reason members cannot delete their own threads is so that no one "accidentally" deletes a thread containing a buy/sell/trade they might not want to finish for whatever reason, and leave someone holding the empty bag and everyone wondering . . . :scratch_one-s_head:

I know you wouldn't do it but one day we'll have a lot of members and trading activity and perhaps an unscrupulous member or two. Hope not, but why risk it.
