Diamond Willow

[Tim Shettlesworth]

I am looking for some Diamond Willow. I would like to find a few pieces that I could make a few lamps with. Unfortunately my wife seen a lamp made of it and wants me to make a set for us as well as our daughter's for Xmas. So if you have access to some then please let me know. I can buy or I have a lot of Olivewood that maybe we can work a trade.

I have no source- I do know it is available in Montana

I knew you said it was available there. That was why I thought you might have had a source.

It is a wood I get one request a year for. Hard to stock for that low of a volume specialty.

No doubt. If I lived a bit farther north, it would be something I would certainly be hunting for. I love messing with weird little things. And I have very little storage room left so it would work perfectly

Thanks for trying 2feathers and Mike

How bout our newest Alaskan refugee? @Barb You got contacts in your new location yet?
Also, if diamond willow doesn't come available in time, you may be able to find a similar look in aspen or @DLJeffs juniper bushes.
