Just finished this commission of "slim" (really "skinny") bobtail grips made of Claro walnut with hand cut checkering for the client in North Carolina. Sorry I don't have access to a bob tail pistol to photograph these on. Photo left is the raw, unfinished wood, soon after the checkering was completed. The hand cut checkering is 22 LPI in the double diamond pattern. These "slim", skinny panels turned out to be right at .200" thick. Standard thickness is between .250" and .270".

Starting to get back on track after the heart surgery. It took almost a month for the effects of the general anesthesia to wear off. WOW! Don't want that stuff ever again!!

Thank you sir. Glad it's over. Just have to return on the 14th for them to check the "Watchman" implant to ensure it's functioning properly and, if it is, they will stop the blood thinner.
