All you need is some finesse and a net. This go-round didn't turn out as well as others. I added OD Green later (after I found it).
Also, it was over 150F in the garage. I know this because the kydex shrank and the knife didn't fit.
P.S. This thing shoots "laser beams." The sighting in round was the finger nail.

Very nice. I've got an AR-15 I'd like to do something like that to, should I ever find the time. Maybe a winter project...

I looked at several different videos. The one take away is, if you're thinking about how to do it, you're overthinking it. I prefer the woodland colors, but it's desert and oak trees here.
 
I'd watched some videos some time ago and it's not something that looks difficult at all. For me it's just a matter of time, lol.
