Not sure if this is actually root wood, but it's on the inside of a base of hollowed out trunk. No visible rot, and in the little slice I took, the grain looks interesting. But I'm not a woodworker, so thought I'd ask folks here if this wood looks like something that's worth cutting into blanks?
