@barry richardson asked about swapping bowl blanks. Here's a chunk that just fits a LFRB if you're interested. The heartwood/pith was checked pretty badly which is why there's so much sap on these blanks.

If Barry passes, I'll happily entertain other offers.

That end grain looks like walnut on steroids. I didn't know they got that big I just always envisioned them as scraggly little trees loaded with expensive nuts. I just googled it and they do get to be moderate size it seems - super pretty wood.
 
What the hey, I will trade you, I don't have anything to show you now for trade, but now I have an excuse to go to my honey hole and do some scrounging, .... I think I can come up with a suitable offering by next week...
