How come you don't need poplar you don't have TN listed.

I can send a piece of poplar from Ky... just pay shipping, it wouldn't even be worth a trade. But, it would get you Ky and be from here... unless you don't care where the wood is from, in which case, poplar would likely be easy to get at most any lumber yard around ya.

tulip poplar... that's the only poplar I'm aware of anymore? I know that is the only kind of poplar we have here. I have quite a bit that I cut off a buddy's place and milled myself.
Oops my bad. Shows how much I know about different woods. I will take a piece I don't have the list of size I need but I will get back to you

Ok I'll find a piece tomorrow. I know we just picked some up from the loggers a couple weeks ago. I'll pm you Friday. Union meeting after work tomorrow so I won't get home until dark thirty.

Massachusetts is the American Elm. I know I have an Elm pen blank but I can't verify it is from Massachusetts.
Let me know if you would like it - free on charge!

How big of piece of white oak do you need for Connecticut?

I can cover hawaii for you. Since there are 8 islands what do you need? Size, wood type etc? Just read more on your needs. Our tree is the kukui nut tree. It's not normally something that's used but I'll track down some for the project. When I find it I'll let you know.
