I've made some necklaces from some of the scraps I had ordered from a few, here, and have a shot of some of them at my booth.

I'm once again in need of live edge scraps if anyone has any available.

Thank you!

I've got bunches of box elder burl.
What size box do you need?
I'll get you some pics when I get home tonight.

It would be ideal at 1/2 inch thickness but I can cut them down to size as needed.

Thanks! I would like a large box if possible. I'm unsure of the terminology when it comes to box sizes.

How do these look, James? There's a little room left in the box that I can fill with stubby pieces.
How about $40 shipped.

If it's something different that you need or there is pieces that you have no use for just holler and we'll figure something out.

The blackwood burl is $8/lb and the maple burl is $3/lb. Both are quite dry. Thickness varies but is generally 3/4 - 1" thick.

I love these too! I don't know how many pounds they would equal out to be. I suppose I could buy 2 pounds of each then how much would the shipping cost?

@ZenArtist Do the small pieces work better for your projects? I think I could get several pieces to equal two pounds. the stuff is heavy as hell, though; 79lb/ft^3.

I might be able to fit four pounds of stuff in a padded envelope, though perhaps not the safest method for delicate pieces like some of the maple burl stuff.

That might be okay. It wouldn't be better to put them in one of the regular shipping boxes?

@ZenArtist It certainly would mitigate damage to the maple burl. the blackwood is almost impervious to damage. If you prefer I can use a medium box. Shipping cost will be $11.95 as opposed to $6.10.

Yes I think I would rather have the pieces undamaged so it would probably be better in a box. Let me know the whole cost and how to pay you.

Thanks!

@ZenArtist shown below is 1.94 lb of blackwood and 2.11 lb of maple. I'll round the maple to 2 lb since there is bark on the pieces. cost is : $15.52 and $6 respectively and 11.95 for shipping. shoot me you paypal address and I'll get an invoice to you.
