I’m sure looking forward to it. I’ve bought FBE here 2-3 other times and it was great. However, this batch seems to top them all. You are not going to be disappointed and, FWIW, I’m done for now.

I think this piece is 2x16x10. There is a crack down middle. 4-5" bowls. $30
The board was $20. 11 $6 blanks and6 at $8 =$164 + sh. If i cut 32 " board in half it fits in lfrgb. It might all fit. Or it is fed ex. Which would not be bad, you are close

Kevin By far had most consistent FBE I have seen. Deep red and a lot of it. His was unique in another way JMO though, wind shake. Elder is very susceptible to wind shake here. getting big solid slabs is tough. His were BIG and solid. But the trade off is more burl and curl. Just informational.

8" will fit- as far as how they look- they will have red....

Well you can fill the space with small scraps of other interesting wood....I can turn ornaments from smaller stuff.....
