I think this is the right place to post this since I would be offering wood but still not sure. I know some guys on here make mod blanks. Do any of you make or know who makes them that would like to do a trade for a mod? I started using a mod a few months ago and like it enough to get a fancy one but wow, they are spendy. I could get a good knife grinder set up for what they want for a nice mod. Lol

I am sorry to ask but I looked at the incomplete acronym list and I'm not sure what a mod is. So I'm guessing I can't help but curious nonetheless.

Haha. It's not an acronym. It's a device for vaporizing eliquid.

Hmm I got a buddy who works at one of those places and does all the builds but I don't think he's Ever done a wood one. Just those metal ones they trick out.

I am looking for a complete one. Preferably one with 510 threads, so I can use kangertech tanks. It's what I'm used to.
Got ya. Wish I could help but the wood part is the draw back. The rest can be done.

Ever thought about trying to make one? Doesn't seem a lot to the wood part for a woodworker like yourself to tackle.

I might try that. I mean, I don't know much about electronics but I have taken mine apart. Everything is just held in with screws. I could easily put it all into a piece of wood. Tough party is carving it out.

I would imagine a drill press and then a sharp chisel would remove a lot at once.

I turn tho so all flat work advise from me comes with a disclaimer...

This is not what I expected when I read it. At first I thought I could get a free trip to Montana.....:lol2:

I think I have a box I could fit in.....

I have a couple of mods that I'm no longer using. One is a mechanical the other is electronic. The mechanical is a Dimitri, the electronic is a Sigeli (sp?) 150 watt. Both use 2 18650 batteries. If you're interested, I can post photos when I get home this evening.

I am definitely interested. I did find some build kits online but I don't think they'll take wood for them. Lol! Will a mechanical be a problem for a wood body?

Are you looking to convert the mod to have a wooden shell? If so, the mechanical would be much easier I would think. I never really used the mechanical with a tank, just the rebuildable atomizers. For the tanks, I like the electronic mods best......but that's just me.

Definitely going to try making wooden shell for them. If you want to part with both, let me know what you're after for a trade and I'll get some stuff posted.

The biggest thing on my wish list for the moment would be some bowl blanks that I could turn some live-edge bowls with. Outside of that, I'm open to whatever you may want to trade with.

I'll see what I can dig up. :saw:
