Just seeing what's out there... Curly at the minimum but burl would be nice. I have plenty of domestic burls and would probably pass on those.

IMO you should be able to get 2 VERY nice calls outta this block and possibly a pen blank or two. Rule in the pic for size reference.

Probably minimum size would be 1.5 by 6. If it's something in need of stabilization I would like it to be more closer to 1.625 square so I can clean it up afterword and so forth without losing the 1.5 minimum.

Camphor burl. There are interesting checks which can be left open or filled with resin or stone. Solid. 6" x 1 9/16" x 2 7/8" (other end is 3")
Pic #3 dark center spot is 1/4" deep.
