This is to fulfill my end of a trade with @The100road - He sent me some blanks to stabilize/dye for money. In the meantime he had some Spalted Bigleaf Maple Burl I liked, so we turned it into a trade. Those two SBMB blocks were pictured in a thread Stan posted some time ago.

Here's what I've got ready to head back to you, Stan.

Oh yeah, @NYWoodturner I asked Matt to make a dyed/stabilized scale blank specifically for you.

Yours is the Blue curly second from the right.

You aren't sposed to play with the good stuff! You're sposed to play with pine 2 x 4s, chunks of firewood, and such!
 
But how do you say no to turning awesome wood? Na...........I'm going to turn this pine 2x4 instead. Haha.

I have 2 year old. My shop time is very limited. I try to make the most of it. :saw:

Well, most of it anyway... Well, maybe enough you don't have to throw too much Awesome Wood away anyhow!!
