Christos asked me long ago for some Chittum Burl pen blanks, and I happened to find some better pieces as I was cleaning out my shop. These are all a minimum of 5", most longer and minimum 3/4", mostly bigger. I'm sending these on to him, along with a ton of shorts for some Briar Burl.

Here is my contribution to the trade. The four blocks on top are 4 3/8" long and the 3 bottom ones are 4" long. All are 1 1/2" sq. First pic apart, wood was misted with DNA to show the grain.

Hey Kev, it's a trade between the two members for now, but if they have anything left over and want to trade for something you have, they will ask you what you have to trade and then y'all can start your own thread once this one is done. Dave may be running very low on Chittum Burl because he is moving away from his chittum hunting grounds and won't be harvesting anymore for a while. Christos is also out of his harvesting season but may have some more, but he is asleep right now with a big stack of Mountain Mahogany next to his bed. Yes, I know my members far too well.

Anyway they will see your post and let you know. You'll get the hang of everything pretty fast. Just keep asking questions someone will answer.

I think it's a done deal Kevin, you can start a new "wood for trade" thread if you're looking to trade something....

As Kevin said, my stock is over for now. Maybe I'll have some briar burl from this summer on, but not sure though.
